Davepaintnairbrush Caricaturist from Hudson Falls, NY

Hey there, I'm Dave. I received my Bachelors in Illustration from Montserrat College of Art with the intent of working in either the comic or animation fields. After graduation, however, I answered an ad to be an airbrush t-shirt artist at a local amusement park, even though I'd never touched an airbrush before. After spending a few years doing that, I was offered a caricature contract as well, at which point my wife and I figured we'd better learn how to draw them! So after grabbing a couple of caricature books, I dove right in and have been doing it ever since. It's a pretty darn fun thing to be able to do! I do still do airbrush apparel and tattoos in addition to caricatures. My wife Kristine and I met at art school in the Illustration program and now she works with me. She also does caricatures and airbrush tattoos/facepaint, but specializes in henna tattoos. My friends Nick and John are local caricature artists as well, and if my wife or myself aren't available they'll be more than happy to draw at your event.
