Violin/viola performance at your event Violinist from Stony Brook, NY

I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Stony Brook University. I received my second MM degree from Manhattan School of music, as well as a Professional Study Certificate in viola performance. I earned my first MM degree New England Conservatory, and my BM from Mannes. I have performed at numerous venues and festivals, such as Aspen Music Festival, Young Artist Program at Canada National Art Center, Mozarteum Summer Music Festival, Sarasota Music Festival, Heifetz Music Festival, Carnegie Hall, Jordan Hall, Merkin Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and Symphony Spaces. I can play solo, or find a pianist or string quartets to play at your events. I like to help people to make their important life events more memorable. Please look at my pictures to select the outfit that suits your event the best. ( please let me know if you have specific outfit requests.) Please let me know in advance if you have special song requests. I can play both classical repertoire and pop song covers My quote depends on a lot of things. The most important aspects are travel distance and song requests. For the most basic rate I can play traditional wood violin. For an upgrade, I can add a speaker to play the background accompaniment while I play the melody. I can also use a violin pick-up to amplify my wood violin with a fee. I have a custom make electric violin with LED lights. According to my maker, there are less than 10 in the world. I can stroll while I am playing the violin. If I need to stroll and to amplify the sound, then I have to charge an additional fee. When I charge a fee it is because the equipments cost money, and it takes more time to set-up and do sound check. Weddings My base rate is for one hour which will include 30 minutes of prelude, (When guests are gathering) and 30 minutes of ceremony. Usually there are three songs for the ceremony—one for the bridal party, one for the bride entrance, and one for recessional. Please put me in contact with the MC and the officiant to make sure I know the flow of the wedding. Each wedding is a bit different. I need to have a complete ceremony program. Most importantly, I need to know how many people are walking in before the bride entrance so I can change the song on time. If I play 2 hours, I usually play another hour for the cocktail hour. It would be beautiful to have me stroll around the couple for their first dance. If you have a DJ, please put me in contact with the DJ. The same song can be played on so many keys. If I need to collaborate with the DJ, I need to make sure we are playing ye same key.
