We booked the "Spirit Of '29" for our Mother's 80th "Gatsby Style" Birthday Celebration and we couldn't have made a better choice! Their style and sound were exactly what we had in mind for our 1920's themed party. They had everyone on their feet by the end of the afternoon. Eliot Kenin and his band have been performing around the SF Bay area for many years now, and we were so fortunate to have them play for us! We look forward to hearing them again, and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for authentic Jazz musicians, who get your toes tapp'n! Thanks again, fellas!
The Spirit of '29 plays happy New Orleans Jazz of the kind made popular by Louis Armstrong. We play for parties, fairs, corporate events and all happy occasions. We can bring our Model A Ford flatbed truck to use as a stationary or moving stage. Notable venues include Giants ball games at ATT Park, hot rod shows, all of the great San Francisco Hotels, and countless Food, Art, and Wine festivals. We can play with our own P.A. system or without any.
