In my capacity as a solo pianist, I specialize in performing works from the "Great American Songbook," i.e. music by composers such as George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Harold Arlen, and others who wrote during the time period from the 1920s to the 1950s. I can also include some more contemporary pop selections by Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, the Beatles, and so forth, with a jazz interpretation. I can work by myself or as a duo with a bassist or trio with bass and drums. Demo tracks will soon be available on the website. As a saxophonist, I can provide a light classical presentation (with piano accompaniment) for luncheons, receptions, or gatherings. I can also organize a saxophone quartet performing works of 19th and 20th century composers for concerts, receptions, or any event where light classical and popular music is desired. I also am available as a lead or section player on soprano, alto, tenor, or baritone saxophone for big bands or jazz combos, and can provide any size group in that genre for any occasion.
