Phyllis Lynd, soprano who sings in 10 languages, and who has toured all over Europe singing Neapolitan songs, Russian gypsy tunes, French chansonettes, Creole ditties, Viennese melodies, and more, includes American pop standards made famous by Barbara Streisand, Peggy Lee, and other favorites. She has recently joined up with the fabulous tenor, Sean Mahony, who has been singing for many years at the Rainbow Room in Rockefeller Center. Together, they perform duets by Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Victor Herbert and Cole Porter. Phyllis accompanies herself on guitar, and Sean on the piano. They occasionally use an orchestral CD accompaniment for certain songs. Their well-trained voices and engaging personalities result in repeat bookings wherever they work. They bring back romance to our modern culture.
