We really enjoyed the Cheez Whiz Band. They kept the everyone dancing and they also took request. They were very energetic and put on a great show. They really got into the 80's attire. :)

AWESOME!!!! I had a wedding party, rather than reception at the American Legion Post in Encinitas over Memorial Day Weekend. I was nervous having a large band in the small venue, but they were absolutely amazing! They made the whole event! We danced, we sang, we laughed, it was an absolute blast. They were very easy to book and worked the crowd beautifully! They even played several extra songs because they could see we were still in party mode. I really can't thank them enough for making my wedding party so incredibly awesome! You won't regret booking them.

As an event planner you are always looking for a team that you can click and work well with. I found that team. Paul and his crew were amazing. I received exactly what I asked for and a little more. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and very flexible. The guest enjoyed the variety of music and the fun candid shots for the party. HUGE recommendation: If your client wants to have MANY fun candid pictures to cherish, but does not want a "wedding photographer" nor rely on a friend to take them for you, GET THE BASIC PACKAGE. My client received over 500 photos of the party. There are raw photos, but look great. They give you a CD to take home.

They were absolutely great! They were able to get the party going and were a hit from beginning to end!
We hired the band to play for our Holiday party but we also had an itinerary of our own to give speeches and raffles; the handing over of the mic was an incredibly easy and smooth transition it almost seemed like it was rehearsed. Communication was on point, if I had any questions I would reach out and they always got back to me right away.
If given the chance to throw another 80's themed party, I'd definitely hire them again!

Paul was great to work with. His communication prior to and during the event was great. We requested some last minute changes regarding setup and he was very accommodating. Freeze Frame did a great job and we would definitely use them again.

DJ Chris was phenomenal! Just the right volume and the right songs at the right times, and the perfect selection of music - I challenge anyone to request music that he can't find! Chris was accommodating with song requests and had the perfect touch as an MC - engaging but not pushy. We also liked FreezeFrame's web platform for choosing music. Five stars across the board!

Our music selection is broad but here's a little secret - Our DJ systems are often connected to the internet so if a request comes in that we don't currently have, we can go right to iTunes and grab it. Some call it cheating, I prefer to call it service.

Paul was very responsive and accomodated all our requests. He even suggested we add some special lighting to our Flash Mob routine which really enhanced the effect we were going for.
We have not gotten our photos back from the photographer-but she was very unintrusive and seemed to gets lots of shots. The only feedback I would provide to her is to be a bit more assertive in getting requested posed photos.
Otherwise-our overall experience was excellent!

We cannot begin to express our gratitude for the service Freeze Frame provided. They offered features that were special to our need. We needed a bi-lingual (English and Spanish) DJ. Freeze Frame provided the service at no extra charge. Paul is great for feedback on music recommendations and selections.
Paul and his team handled the mix of cultures and music skillfully. A special note: the Freeze Frame photo booth was a big hit.
From DJ setup, to the photo booth, and till the end of the reception, Freeze Frame provided great service. We were able to enjoy our wedding day without a care.

We worked with Paul to do the sound system for our outdoor ceremony and he was the DJ for our wedding reception. He also provided a guitarist for the ceremony who went on to perform at the cocktail hour with a vocalist. Paul was very professional-prompt at email responses and he always answers phone calls if you need a quick word. We had a few minor technical difficulties with sound (not Paul's fault) but he was able to resolve everything in less than a minute. We left the reception music selection up to him and he had everyone on the dance floor. With the DJ, lighting, photobooth, slideshow equipment and great musicians we feel we really got our moneys worth!

FreezeFrame usu didn't respond to phone calls or emails prior to event. Often had to call them multiple times to organize details. DJ did not comply with dress code request. Song selection and sound system were good. DJ did arrive on time was polite and no hassle with setup or brkdown of equip.
Photographer was a disaster! Possession of a digital camera does not make a photographer. Reminded her to take photos of babies as it was 1st birthday party. We rarely saw photographer. When photos came back, fully 80-90% of guests not photographed! Few photos of party itself such as layout, food and esp guests! Nearly 500 photos taken ~480 were of 2 babies from 1 foot away!

I booked a DJ relatively last minute for a community event I was hosting. When Jeff arrived, he had trouble getting ahold of me and was unsure where to go to load in. He still showed up with a smile and was completely professional. I also gave him quite a bit of commentary to read just before his set started, and he pulled it off with no issues. I am so happy we booked with Freeze Frame. I highly recommend and will definitely use them in the future!

Overall the experience was ok. The DJ was very professional, friendly and very accommodating but my daughter complained about the music and wasn't happy. Aside from the music, the lighting and photo booth provided were great!

I am so sorry that your daughter was not happy about the music we provided. I am troubled by this as well since we played music specifically requested previously by your daughter using our online request system. We also were able to provide and play every song requested by her on the night of the event. Sometimes, when clients choose their own music, or allow guests to make requests (as in this case), the result is not always what one individual would have enjoyed. I can only assume that your daughter did not enjoy some of the older music played at the request of some of the older guests (including her father). I wish I had known during the event so I could adjust.

Freeze Frame did a great job at my daughter's Sweet 16 party! The DJ worked really hard to play all of my daughter's requests (she had a lot!). The photo booth was a hit as well. We will definitely use them again!

Jeff was absolutely wonderful. Knew how to "read" what was needed and provided the perfect music without being asked. Kept everything going, adjusting time as needed without missing a beat. We would definitely use them again.
