EventReviewed on January 21, 2014From Houston, TX

Capt. Les Thompson played for my husbands 50th birthday and we couldnt have been happier. His professionalism, interaction with our guests and repertoire of songs was perfect for our event, not to mention, he is a very talented guitar and harmonica player. I dont know many harmonica players, but he is one of the best. We highly recommend Capt. Les Thompson.

Cocktail PartyReviewed on March 27, 2013From Cypress, TX

Absolutely a pleasure to work with, he was recommended from friends who had heard him perform at 2 local restaurants. Les's vocals replicating the Eagles, James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, Jackson Browne,Van Morrison, Neil Young and Jimmy Buffett were smooth as silk, but we were pleasently surprised (and blown away) by his uncanny vocal resemblance to Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and his country repetoire as well! Plays harmonica on most songs, great on his 3 acoustic guitars and just a Great "One man band" all around. I would highly recommend him for any occasion and will be booking him again for future events.

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on June 17, 2013From Huffman, TX

Les was absolutely wonderful! He has a great voice and all my guests kept commenting on how good he was! He played long past our agreed time. I was so worried he was going to lose his voice. My party was outside and it was very hot. He didnt let the heat slow him down. He was amazing! He was such a pleasure to do business with! He was a blessing for my party! I will definitely recommend him to everyone I know! Captain Les, I just want to thank u one more time and tell u how much I really appreciated you! You were great! Maybe someday we will all go fishing together! I almost forgot, thank u for the fan too! That was so sweet of you! Thanks again!

Private PartyReviewed on June 24, 2013From Houston, TX

Capt. Les performed at our annual Men's BBQ. Our gentlemen had requested a country western performer. Capt. Les was great! Prior to the event, he took the time to understand our wants and needs for the program. He performed a variety of music for all ages in our audience. He is a talented musician. Our guests appreciated his performance on several different instruments -- this added to the variety of his show. His professionalism reflected when he effortlessly adjusted his volume and music accordingly to fit the conversation and activity levels during the event. Our guests and staff were very pleased. We look forward to booking Capt. Les again.

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on June 6, 2013From Sugar Land, TX

Les was extremely personable and professional. His music was just perfect! He preformed lots of music that our crowd really liked, and my Husband in particular being the Big 60 loved the mix of Country, Buffet & Neil Diamond among others. I would definitely not hesitate to use Him again! Regards, C Messina

We hired Capt. Les Thompson for our Grand Opening Celebration of our frozen yogurt shop. He arrived early and even stayed late. The must was excellent and everyone loved him!

Happy HourReviewed on July 27, 2013From Conroe, TX

Les was very professional. He came early to set up and worked well with the audience. Our venue was large and had difficult acoustics, so that hurt a little. He would be great for a smaller setting, but he did his best for our function. His equipment (guitars, speakers, amplifiers, microphone, etc.) was of the highest quality. Besides the guitars, he played the harmonica, and that was an unexpected extra. He really looks the part of a great performer too. Les is a nice man with a high principles and a delight to work with.

Private PartyReviewed on April 15, 2013From Cypress, TX

Les was a pleasure to work with. He learned a song that I requested and let me sing it along with him. He showed up on time and played the songs that he said he would. He is the perfect act for a backyard party.

Les is a very nice and kind person and a very good guitar player. We should have planned a longer party time to have more time for music. Will probably hire him again very soon. Thanks
