Samantha Moffatt will enliven your event with one of her three acoustic music ensembles: enjoy the sparkling beauty of the hammered dulcimer, the rhythm and drive of mandolin and fiddle, the warmth of guitar and acoustic bass, the romance of French singing, and the evocative strains of the button accordion in: "Hawk Mountain" duo – Celtic and old-time instrumentals and close-harmony singing by Sam(dulcimer, guitar, vocals), with Mike Gareau(fiddle, vocals); "Tympanon" trio – Quebecois, Vermont and French reels, rounds, and airs from Samantha (dulcimer, accordion, vocals) with Quebec fiddler/guitarist Jean-Pierre LeDuc and Montreal French singer Mireille Girard; or "Stolen by Gypsies"trio – gypsy jazz, Parisian songs, and bossa nova bring you romance and reminiscence via the sounds of accordion, bass fiddle, guitar, violin and mandolin. (Sam, Dave Clark, Mike Gareau). Samantha has had 25 years' experience as a professional musician, she has performed on 6 CDs, and was twice invited to appear on NPR's "A Prairie Home Companion". She also is available as a solo.

The band had problems getting into the us and samantha worked to fill the engagement with another band and we were extremely happy to have her band everyone who heard her was very entertained and pleased with the performance. I would deffinately hire her agian.
