With a solo repertoire ranging from the traditional Old World European and light classical, along with American evergreens from the Golden Age of Music going back to the 1930s or pop selections through the 1960-70s, romantic Italian and French ballads, ballroom dance standards, German Beer Drinking music or American polka staples, Joe's lively and moving music is an excellent choice for your private event. A highlight of his performances is Train Ride, a colorful montage of train songs, starting out with Dueling Banjos and migrating to Orange Blossom Special, Folsom Prison Blues, and others, and featuring authentic train sound effects – the trademark whistle and, deploying the accordion's bellows, the familiar chug-a-chug signature sounds evoking mental images of a steam locomotive. Joe's repertoire includes diverse selections from Russian (e.g. Dark Eyes), Hungarian (Monti's Czardas), Czech (Cikanka), Slovenian/Oberkrain, Italian (Non Dimenticar), Austrian & Viennese, Croation, Swiss, Scandinavian, French (La Vien Rose) and German/Bavarian, as well as some light classical favorites.
