New Currency is Jon Mayner, Morgan Jane Harris, and Cohen Ortz. After repeatedly colliding in the Denver music scene, the three independent musicians soon found their paths merging in a unified direction. Since then, they have been on fire as a creative and dynamic team, garnering praise from audiences throughout the region. Rich three-part harmony and intricately interwoven acoustic guitars have been redefined by this group as they breathe new life into familiar songs from the past five decades. This three member band did a beautiful job playing at my wedding reception. The music was soft and elegant, it gave the perfect style of who we are. They did an incredible job by learning two new songs and played off a list that we made based on their example songs. The sound system was perfect, and all three had incredible voices. They didn't mind it when one of my guests who is in his mid 70's sang with them, country road, he also happens to be in a barbershop quartet- no, he wasn't drunk. :) Overall, I would recommend this band, they were very knowledgeable and you can tell they love singing. Make sure you feed them too! They deserve it. Thank you!

New Currency was everything we had imagined at our reception! They were all very talented, and their music fit perfectly with the feel of our wedding. They were very easy to work with leading up to the wedding. We are not from Colorado, but one of the band members made time to meet with my wife when she flew up to Colorado to nail the details down. Our wedding was on a Sunday morning outside of Vail, and they made sure to be there plenty early enough to be done with their sound check before the ceremony. We would highly recommend New Currency to anybody who wants a talented band to make your wedding/reception or any event even better!
