Whether you're looking for background music for a cocktail party or entertainment for an all-ages event, Those Guys have you covered. In addition to original songs, this acoustic duo plays an eclectic yet familiar mix of popular music. Our song list spans the '50s through today by dozens of artists, from Adele to Warren Zevon.
Those Guys have been performing around the Puget Sound at festivals, wineries, private parties and more since 2006. John (singer/songwriter/guitarist) and Kristi (singer/percussionist) have also been in several bands throughout the West Coast. Our professional experience, attitude and equipment will help ensure an unforgettable event for you and your guests.
John is a skillful and entertaining guitarist. His playing evolved from freestyle jams while touring with a three-piece power-pop group and from studying acclaimed pop/rock guitarists. He began performing his own compositions as a solo acoustic artist in 2003. Kristi was drawn to harmonies as a child and went on to perform with choral groups around the country, singing at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and touring Spain and Portugal, before transitioning to cover and tribute bands. Her voice is often compared to Linda Ronstadt's.

We hired Those Guys to play at our annual picnic for our 55 plus community. They were the icing on the cake for our picnic!.The feed back we got from our residents was A+. The music was perfect and not too loud or overpowering. Kristi was easy to communicate with prior to event. We are grateful we booked them and may do so again next year. Those Guys are down to earth good people who are very talented with great vocals and guitar playing. Thanks for a job well done.

Outstanding performers! Very friendly, talented and engaging. They provided great acoustic music for a large outdoor corporate event and were able to adjust and adapt to the energy of the guests. Definitely would recommend them!
