Rob Hanes is a Loudoun County VA -based musician whose songwriting blends genres from blues and funk to folk and country. A consummate storyteller, Rob's masterful guitar and soulful lyrics weave humor, nostalgia and satire into performances reminiscent of American greats Randy Newman and Steve Goodman. He has formed and played in many bands and venues over the years, most recently as half of the duo Stringsmiths. He is currently recording his first studio album which will be released late 2019.
