Enhance your event or party with some tasteful guitar music! Dennis Moss is a solo guitarist with over 20 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music from Cornish College of the Arts. Dennis serves Seattle, Portland and beyond. He performs regularly at corporate events, weddings, private parties, lounges, wine bars, restaurants and festivals. Dennis has performed in venues such as the Silver Legacy Resort Casino (Reno, NV), McCaw Hall at the Seattle Center, Benson Hotel, Hilton Portland, the Seattle Aquarium, Argosy Cruises, University of Washington, VIRGINIA V Historic Ship and Antioch University. Dennis has had the honor of performing for distinguished clients such as Oregon Senator Rick Metsger, Seattle City Council member Jan Drago, Tacoma Mayorial Candidate Jim Merritt and Hewlett-Packard. Dennis plays jazz, Brazilian bossa nova/samba, blues, acoustic and pop (Beatles, Sting, etc.). Dennis will also play traditional wedding music or learn requests from any genre. Besides performing as a solo artist, Dennis also composes, arranges, teaches guitar privately and presents guitar clinics. Dennis earned a Bachelor of Music from Cornish College of the Arts. As a Cornish student, Dennis studied with notable jazz artists such as Chuck Deardorf, Dawn Clement, Julian Priester and Jovino Santos Neto. Dennis earned multiple talent-based scholarships and graduated Magna Cum Laude. There are several unique aspects of Dennis' playing that set him apart. A fingerstylist, Dennis has a gorgeous tone and he plays the seven-string guitar. He has a strong harmonic sense and his voicings are unique among guitarists. His ability to combine melodies, chords and bass lines makes Dennis a true one man band. His playing style is very lyrical and his sound is warm and engaging. Dennis' music works great as background ambience and also as a main attraction.
