My wife Jennifer and I could not have been more happy with Mark. When we arived at our venue on 10-10-10 we could hear Mark playing and our guest having a great time. . The feed back from my guest over the past couple weeks have been wonderful concerning Mark. Extremely professional pleasure to work with, he fit right in and interacted with our families creating a very relaxed fun afternoon for all, we highly recommend him for any occasion you might have.

We had a great party despite the storm. Everyone enjoyed Mark's music, it created a lively and fun atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much we extended his time until our guests left. We would definitely recommend Mark to others and hire him again.

We spent hours upon hours of preparation for our daughters high school graduation...and the one thing I spent the least time on was the biggest hit. Professional, live, well performed music is the way to go. People stayed longer, even people who has to be at another party came right back. Mark was fantastic! He does more than just sings...he entertains. He reads people and crowds well and keeps everything upbeat and lively. I would recommend Mark to anyone, to have every-time. We threw a 30th birthday party at our house for my wife and Gringo was awesome. He played great background music early in the evening then kicked it up a notch towards the end and had people dancing and playing air-guitar! We'll surely have him back and I would recommend him to anyone having a party. People of all ages love his music and he was a perfect gentleman throughout the night.

It was such a pleasure meeting Mark. He arrived and began his performance on time. He was very personable and made a beautiful day for a party, a great success. Many quests, along with our family really enjoyed his singing, and it made the event relaxing and memorable. He welcomed the guests and introduced our son's "speech" to our guests. We would highly recommend him and if we were to have a similiar event in the near future, we wouldn't hesitate to contact Mark Martin again! We really did have a good time!

Mark was like part of my extended family and group of friends at my 50th Birthday Party. He immediately created a great repore with everyone, fielded requests, and even allowed some friends some time on the microphone. It was a great night, made perfect with Mark's great voice, beautiful sound system, and great acoustic guitar sound, etc. I had a backyard party and the neighborhood was coming by to hear the music and enjoy. Our party was a great success! Gringo duJour was the centerpiece, but never overpowering. He was accomodating in every respect, from thoughtful & timely setup to our evening conclusion. Gringo has a vast repertoire of songs, which he plays with his own style & remarkable purity and facility. The gen-x crowd liked his stuff and the baby boomers loved it! We had ages ranging from 12 to 80. The mix was perfect. He picks songs very well to entertain and never be edgy. This is the fifth time we've heard Gringo play, but our first time to hire him for a private party. A great result. By the day's end we had a dozen people asking about Gringo and his services. Gringo DuJour was excellent! He plays just about any song you can think of from the 60's thru current day. He's basically reminiscent of James Taylor and other singers of that genre. I wouldn't hesitate to book him again! His original music is excellent, too!
He arrived on time, and played with minimal breaks. He fit right in to our casual family and friends atmosphere.

Mark played the ceremnoy and cocktail hour of our wedding. As my husband and I were walking from pictures to the reception house, we heard our guests break out into loud applause and laughter. We smiled at eachother, knowing that while we were away doing photos, Mark was keeping our guests entertained. What a huge relief for a couple on their wedding day!
During the reception, one of our guests pulled us aside to tell us how great Mark was. They had asked for a song from a movie-- they couldn't remember the song title or artist, but they gave Mark the name of the movie and a line from that scene. Mark was able to recognize the request, played the song AND threw in the quote. That was the reason for the applause!

He quickly developed a connection with his audience, and all enjoyed themselves immensely. I would recommend Gringo Dujour to friends, family, and anyone looking for a talented singer / guitar player / and songwriter. Mark from the very beginning was very professional and put us at ease. Throughout our planning he was quick to respond to our inquiries and very helpful. On the day of our wedding he arrived on time and did a tremendous job emceeing our event, working with out other musicians, and keeping our reception flowing. When it was finally time for him to start playing he blew our reception away with his abilities, the variety of songs he played, and his energy. Mark proved to be exactly what we had hoped for and would definitly hire him again if the occasion presents itself.
