Philip's sound and musical knowledge are exceptional, thanks to his decades of hard work and experience. He had a nice long list of music that we were able to choose from for our wedding pre-ceremony/ceremony/and cocktail hour. He was on time and his equipment sounded very nice. Many of our guests complemented us on the choice/style of music, so a big thanks goes to Philip.
Our only complaints were that the ceremony/processional song timings could have been improved and his wardrobe choice for the event was too casual (even after mentioning it was formal-wear). Recommend insisting on attending rehearsals in the future.

Since there was no prior rehearsal I had to rely on the ceremony speaker for cues as I did not know the length of each part of the ceremony. The speaker instructed me to follow her cues which I did. I also made a special trip to the wedding couple's home to hand deliver my song list and receive the couples preferred songs and instructions on a paper document. Nowhere on the instruction sheet given to me did it mention "formal wear". Since it was outside on a warm summer day I dressed in dress shoes, dress pants, and a short sleeve collared button shirt to avoid sweating. I was also not compensated for my pre-event travel and meeting time with the wedding couple.

We hired Philip for a small New Year’s dinner with family and friends. His performance really made the night extra special. It was hard to find a performer for that night but Philip was very responsive, arrived ahead of time to set everything up and even played some extra songs for us. Thank you Philip!

Phil was amazing he played for my wedding reception and my cocktail hour his guitar playing was awesome he played some covers and also some other great melodies. Phil was early and made sure we were all set befor leaving it was a great experience and I would hire him again in a second. Thanks Phil you Rocked!!!

I hired Philip for my parent's 50th anniversary party held at their home. He has an incredible range from Baroque to Classic rock and is very accommodating to requests. He also performs his own arrangements that make the experience feel extra special. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening, I highly recommend. Thank you again Philip!

My guests were extremely pleased with the music provided by Philip del Grosso. His music was performed in a lovely way, suitable for the listening pleasure of my guests during the holiday season. He is a very talented person who was was pleasant and obliging. I recommend him to anyone who is fond of classical Spanish guitar music as he won't disappoint. Phil's playing and sound were great! The guests at our event loved the performance and song choices. Phil e-mailed me in advance to find out what types of songs would be most appropriate, and he nailed the set list. He was a big hit.
