I've been performing solo instrumental guitar in Florida for the past nine years. I use a battery powered amplifier for beach weddings, a system for large functions, and a special system for small rooms. I am comfortable and prepared for most settings. I've played for dinners of 8 people and weddings/parties for 300. I'm generally booked through talent agents, but I have occasional open slots where I can book myself = Gig Masters. I enjoy performing at private parties-dinners-weddings.

#1 Pete provided just the right music for our event, was varied and fun. He had a great presence and was very accommodating. #2 he kept in contact as we got close to the event and was very helpful and knowledgeable about how a customer like me gets antsy the days just before. #3 he knew the venue, was there on time, played a great couple sets and even helped to liven a game we played with our employees. #4 I would recommend Pete Simms for others. Pete was always easy to communicate with and prompt to respond. Always very friendly and professional. He learned 2 custom songs for our ceremony for no extra charge. The acoustic guitar is a really nice touch for an outdoor ceremony. He did a great job, we were very happy with him and would definitely recommend him!

We have nothing but great things to say about Pete. Prior to our wedding, he responded to all of our requests and emails in a timely manner. I met him briefly on the day of the event. He was on time and ready to go. He played our ceremony and the cocktail hour, and our guests loved him. With a million things that can go wrong with a wedding, it was nice to have one less thing to worry about. I would definitely recommend him, and we hope to use his services in the future.
My only regret, as the groom, is that my wife and I didn't get to enjoy his playing as much as our guests did.
