Sol De Alegria Latin Band from Northridge, CA

Sol de Alegria is a Latin guitar band. We perform in different party settings but are also aware of the special needs of a wedding event. Our experience in this arena includes numerous weddings at the prestigious Hotel Bel Aire in Beverly Hills as well as the Bacara in Santa Barbara and several beach-side weddings in Los Angeles. We perform as solo guitar, two guitars, two guitars and bass or two guitars and percussion incorporating latin standards and ballads like ' Sabor a Mi' and ' Guantanamera' as well as some classics like ' Oye Como Va ' and ' Moon Flower' performed with acoustic nylon string guitar. Also performed are 'nuevo flamenco' style music perfect for background music at cocktail parties, weddings and any intimate gatherings. If you like the Gypsy Kings you'll love us. We've performed at the Kodak Theatre, the National Anthem at Staples Center, Mayan Theatre, and at numerous corporate and private events. We've also opened for Chayanne and performed with Alejandra Guzman, Odalis Garcia.
