Three Fathoms Cover Band from Saint Louis, MO

Three Fathoms is a Saint Louis based trio consisting of Veronica (violin/vocals), John (guitar/vocals), and Bill (bass/vocals). We specialize in acoustic genres ranging from Country/Bluegrass to Folk Americana. Influences include Allison Kraus, Johnny Cash, Joni Mitchell, and Hank Williams. We have three hours-worth of music and are available for corporate and private gigs. We perform our own arrangements of cover tunes characterized by contrasting voices, harmonies, and rhythm. We also have a growing repertoire of original pieces. Veronica began playing classical music on the violin when she was six years old. Then she decided to learn viola. Over the years, she has developed a full repertoire of classical, folk, Celtic, children's music, bluegrass, country, and popular songs. She plays violin, viola, harp, guitar, piano, and sings soprano and alto. John came from a visual arts background, as a teenager gravitated towards music and playing guitar. He drew inspiration from Elliot Smith, Nick Drake, The Beatles, and Dave Matthews Band. Bill has participated in a variety of musical ensembles and genres mostly on bass guitar and upright: jazz standards, Bulgarian folk music, flamenco pop, modern jazz, classic rock, samba, bossa nova, and purely improvisational music.
