Buddy Greenbloom, sings classic western ballads, waltzes, and new wave covers sung as cowboy ballads. Greenbloom's baritone voice and rambling guitar complement the classic sounds of Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings alongside the emerging new wave of honky tonk revival and Americana acts like Charlie Crocket, Nikki Lane, and Sierra Ferrell. The Buddy Greenbloom Band features Western Music Association professional member, Buddy Greenbloom on lead vocals and a nylon-stringed acoustic guitar. A veteran cowboy singer for 20 years, Greenbloom has since performed across America at private parties and public venues like Bob Stane's world-famous Coffee Gallery Backstage in Pasadena, CA to the legendary CB's Cafe adjacent to CBGB's in NYC. History: Buddy grew up in Houston, Texas watching country legends perform at small honky-tonks and rodeo events like the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Show and Cheyenne Frontier Days. As a youth, Buddy competed in choral competitions in Brenham, Texas, and later learned to play guitar in Phoenix, Arizona. While living in Tempe, Arizona during his years at McClintock High School, he performed in local bands opening for The Gin Blossoms, Rain Convention, Joe Myers, and Hans Olson. After emerging as the 'Gothic Cowboy' in 2003, Buddy's repertoire focused on performing acoustic alt-country covers of punk rock and new wave hits from the 1980s. Currently, Buddy is recording his first studio album composed entirely of original songs, in Hollywood, California with Music Academy member-producer, Fabrice Vignati. Sharing his new songs in solo, stripped-down performances, with vocals and acoustic guitar, at live music venues, Buddy is currently booking live events, fairs, and festivals across the USA.
