The Spoon River Ramblers Bluegrass Band from Minneapolis, MN

We are a versatile Americana band led by singer and multi-instrumentalist John Lane and drawing on a select group of the twin cities' best players that can offer a wide range of music for your event, including bluegrass, country, swing/speakeasy jazz, celtic, folk, old-time, and more. We can play acoustically or amplified, and we can tailor the flavor and size of our group to fit your needs and budget. We can also throw a square dance (great for weddings between the ceremony and dinner), bringing along a caller who will teach/lead the dancing. Let us know how we can make your event special!
