4 Fall Wedding Entertainment Trends

Marta Block

Fall officially starts on Saturday so what better time to take a look at some of the entertainment trends you'll be seeing at weddings this Fall. Having a Fall wedding is itself a trend, as more couples have started looking beyond the traditional June wedding to do something a little bit different.

1. Gangnam Style

Call me Maybe was the song for Summer weddings and wedding videos, but it's been quickly replaced by the quirky Korean, Gangnam Style as evidenced by this video, the first in what will most likely be a series of wedding videos making use of the song.

2. Video Booths

First it was videography, then it was photo booths, then it was homemade photo booths, now it's video booths. Guests are no longer just taking cute photos with mustaches, they're creating full videos.

3. Classic Cocktail Hours

After years of trying to avoid or shorten cocktail hours, the classic cocktail hour with classic entertainment is back. Look for jazz and classical trios and quartets.

4. The Hi Lo Wedding Dress

OK, technically speaking a wedding dress isn't an entertainment trend. But, the hi-lo hemline is all about individuality and freedom to move around. So here's hoping that means Fall Wedding Receptions share the same values!
