4 Ways to Party in Fall!

Chelsea Pellegrino

All across the country, temperatures are dropping and schools are starting. The summer may be coming to an end, but that doesn't mean the fun has to! In fact, there are tons of reasons to celebrate autumn's arrival. We've picked 4 of our favorite fall ideas to share, so you can keep the party going!

1. Football Kick-Off Party/Tailgate

Are you ready for some football!? We sure are, so we love the idea of celebrating your favorite college or NFL team's season opener. If you're watching from the comfort of your home, spice up the night with some fan-favorite snacks. Chips, wings and these awesome chocolate covered strawberries are sure to be winners. If you're lucky enough to be watching from the sidelines, bring the party to the parking lot! Finger foods and beer are obvious elements of a successful tailgate; but if you really want to get into the game, book a face painter! They'll turn you and your crew into the ultimate fans, like this couple painted by Fabulous Faces By Kellie!

2. DIY Wine Tasting Party

Nothing beats fall weather, good friends and a nice glass of wine. Combine all 3 with a wine tasting party! No need to take a trip to the vineyards; you can easily recreate that ambiance at home! Book an acoustic guitarist to play some great background tunes, and set out the cheese and chocolates. Simply ask each guest to bring their favorite bottle of wine, and provide small disposable sample cups for sipping. You can even turn it into a game, and award a prize to the guest with the most popular wine!  Start planning your party here.

3. Oktoberfest Bash

No matter the heritage, everyone is German during Oktoberfest! The popular European food and beer festival has taken America by storm, so why not celebrate by hosting your own version! Hire a traditional band, like Das Liederhosen (pictured left), to set the scene. Then, just add sausages, pretzels and your favorite German beer!

4. Halloween Party

In case you think of it as a "kids only" event, we're here to remind you that Halloween can be enjoyed by all ages! It's a chance to dress up, let loose and enjoy some awesomely gruesome treats (like these "fingers" pictured right). Add a unique twist to the typical costume party by booking a magician or fortune teller. Either will add a fun, mystical element to your bash!   There you have it: 4 awesome ways to celebrate during the fall season. Now is the perfect time to choose your favorite and start planning. Summer may be ending, but this party is just getting started!
