Throw the Confetti, We’re Celebrating…
You’ve probably seen The Confetti Foundation featured on The Today Show and plenty of other media outlets. That’s because they're an organization worth celebrating. The Confetti Foundation aims to help every hospitalized child in America celebrate their birthday, and we're proud to say that GigMasters is joining the party! We’re partnering with The Confetti Foundation to add entertainment to the birthday celebrations- sending face painters, super heroes, princesses and the like to children enduring long-term hospital stays.
About The Confetti Foundation
The Confetti Foundation team hand-packs birthday boxes full of all the essentials. Cups, plates, coloring pages and, of course, birthday banners are shipped to hospitals across the country. From there, local “birthday fairy” and “birthday hero” volunteers coordinate and host parties for kids during their stay. At this time, the foundation has over 100 participating hospitals in 36 states.
Working Together to Bring More Smiles
Now, GigMasters will be helping to add fun entertainers to create extra-special memories for those with lengthy visits. Here's what Stephanie Frazier Grimm, Confetti Foundation Founder and CEO, has to say about the partnership:
"We are so thrilled to partner with GigMasters! We believe happiness heals, and by celebrating these children to the fullest extent they are given a bit of normalcy during an unpredicted circumstance. No one ever wishes to be hospitalized, so any distraction is always welcomed! By having GigMasters, this tool of entertainment will enhance these parties and remind them that everyone needs to be celebrated on their birthday."
We'll be connecting the birthday fairies and birthday heroes with entertainment vendors in their area of need, who will be donating their time to help make these celebrations special. Our goal is to help make this part of the event-planning process easy, fun and cost-free for The Confetti Foundation volunteers. Be sure to look out for a follow-up post later this year featuring all of the great children our kind-hearted vendors have helped celebrate!
