I’m not sure how I feel about vow renewals. Being three years past my own big fat wedding, it certainly seems too early to consider, but there are so many things I’d do differently, it’s tempting. I’m in support of renewals at big milestone anniversaries, but can only guess what would possess someone to renew one big wedding, with another big wedding less than a year apart. Perhaps too much money? :)
R&B entertainer “Monica” re-wed her basketball player husband, LA Laker Shannon Brown recently, after being married less than a year! Here’s some video and details: http://theybf.com/2011/07/12/inside-monica-shannon-browns-stunning-wedding Music was provide by a DJ named J.D. (is that for real or a “The Office” reference?)
“Monica” fan or not (Today IS just one of those days…) wedding #2 (to the same person) can big as big or small as you like, but it should certainly be special. Talk to your music provider about ways to incorporate touches from wedding #1 and all you’ve been through since then. There are also very special things to consider like how to involve grown children if you have any.
In other entertainment wedding news – broken engagements. The Hills” star Kristin Cavallari and Chicago Bears player Jay Cutler, and Jesse James and Kat Von D, are kaput. No second—or first—weddings here, folks. Until next time!
