Good riddance, winter - spring has officially sprung! While the weather may have some catching up to do, we're not waiting to celebrate the arrival of a new season. Neither should you! We've put together four fabulous ideas to ring in spring the right way.
1. Garden Party
If weather is finally warming up in your neck of the woods, take advantage by hosting your party outdoors. Green grass and blossoming flowers easily provide a beautiful party décor. To keep with the naturalistic atmosphere, line tables in burlap or earth-toned linens. Top them with floral centerpieces and delicate table settings. A tea-time menu is perfect for this party. Think finger sandwiches, different types of teas and macaroons for dessert. For entertainment, a soloist like a harpist or violinist will add a classic sound. The best part is, this garden theme can be easily adapted to suit any event: from baby shower, to birthday party or bridal shower.
2. Kentucky Derby Party
Whether you follow the famous races, or your just a fan of the floppy hats, the Kentucky Derby makes for great party inspiration. Host a Kentucky Derby Party in honor of the actual event, or use it as a theme for a cocktail party or other celebration. Roses and ribbons make the perfect décor for this party. Pair them with fun horse-themed printables, like the ones available on Hostess With The Mostess Blog. Incorporate mason jars, twine and other southern staples into your tableware. On the menu, include bites like mini quiches and a make your own salad bar. Don’t forget the signature drink, Mint Juleps! Create the look with bright colors and luau décor, like seashells, leis, grass skirts and palm trees. Add some Hawaiian or hula dancers to really set the scene! Serve up frozen cocktails or "mocktails," and island staples like fresh fruit and jerk chicken.

For some, spring isn't just any season - it's baseball season! Celebrate the return of America's pastime by throwing a baseball-themed bash. Choose the colors of your favorite team, or opt for the classic red, white and blue. Stadium snacks like popcorn and hotdogs are an obvious necessit y- serve them up in this authentic printable packaging from Etsy! To entertain guests, a face painter or balloon twister can make the perfect addition to this fun theme.
