Beginning with piano at the age of 8, he has studied jazz, classical and composition under the tutelage of many professional musicians, including Dr. Annette Dimedeo at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He picked up the Highland Bagpipes at an early age and has had the opportunity to study under some of the best Bagpipe tutors on the East Coast. Fred also plays the "Parlor Pipes" a smaller set of indoor pipes with a softer sound and is a seasoned veteran of the Irish Penny Whistle and the Irish Low Whistle. Finding the surroundings of Easton Md., ideal he has settled here and managed to find a place among the very fine Maryland music community.
