I starting playing bagpipes when I was thirteen and have been playing for more than half my life. I am an active solo competitive player and have played for seven seasons in the top amateur grade in the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association, winning the southern branch's MacCrimmon Quaich three times and the Scott-Volraith trophy three times. I have played with pipe bands across the southeast as well as in Scotland, and I currently am a member of the Grandfather Mountain Highlanders, host band to the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games.
I have played at hundreds of events, including weddings, funerals, dog shows, college athletic events, birthday parties, church services, Boy Scout ceremonies, parades, St. Patrick's Day celebrations, and Kirkin' of the Tartans. I pride myself on being timely, easy to work with, and always presenting a musical performance. I would love to be a part of your special event.
