We have had bagpipers for many events over the years (weddings, funerals, rehearsal dinners, golf tournaments), but we've never had such a fine experience as we did with Jerry Cashion. He said he seldom "talks" at events for which he's a piper, but it's clear that he is comfortable sharing history and stories. He shared some brief stories and we were captivated. My husband especially loved his recounting of his time as a piper for JFK in the White House! Our grandchildren loved that he taught them a brief version of the Highland Fling. He's a consummate professional and an excellent musician. And a nice guy too!

Jerry played for my father's funeral, and did an outstanding job. He arrived well before guests began arriving (although it was snowing at he traveled 2 hours to get here); his music was beautiful; he was curteous and professional and delivered exactly what he said he would, and even offered to go above and beyond what he had contracted to do. We received many compliments on his music and how much it added to the service, and I know I'll be providing his information to a number of guests who asked. Jerry played at my Mother's surprise 90th Birthday, this passed weekend @ The Depe Dene Resort in Lake George. He was GREAT!! My family loved him & so did all the other guest vacationing there. Everyone came to hear him play. I would highly recommend Jerry for any type of party. He gave the crowd a great show... Jerry started to play & walk down from the top of there driveway. No one knew what was going on so, when he stopped in front of our cottage, my Mom, her sisters & the rest of the family were all very surprised.... Jerry was incredibly accommodating (he only had a few days notice, and the funeral was the day before a holiday), punctual, friendly and professional. Everyone who attend my grandfather's burial commented on how well he played and how it was exactly what my grandfather would have wanted. I hired Jerry to play at my Mother-in-laws 80th birthday party. If you need a bagpiper I highly recommend him. He arrived promptly and played beautifully. Jerry did a wonderful job at my mother-in-law's funeral. He was very helpful in selecting songs in addition to the one that we knew we wanted. He was early to the event and was professional throughout. His playing was beautiful.
