Reece Owens Bagpiper from Fresno, CA

Hello all! One thing anyone who is reading this should know about me is that I love music. Music is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and it is my passion to make this love available to others. I started on piano when I was 3 years old, and took lessons starting at age 4, and completed 10 years of lessons. Piano is my main instrument. I play many instruments which include pipe organ, accordion, any high brass, any low brass, most woodwind instruments, etc. I have been playing bagpipes for 7 years, starting when I was 10. I started competing in 2012 and since then have placed and won several competitions. I am a Grade 2 piper. The grading goes as follows: Grade 5-beginner, lowest level. All the way to Grade 1- almost professional. Professional grade- best of the best. I participate as a piper in the Irish Pipers Band of San Francisco Grade 2. This allows me to compete as a band with the best of the best, and it is a great opportunity to excel as a musician as a whole. I currently attend Bullard High School, and will be starting my Senior Year in Fall of 2015. Thank you for reading!
