Singer/tenor banjoist David Tyberg specializes in bringing rock/pop favorites and jazz standards to life with a twist as he revives one of America's most unique and storied musical instruments. Having studied at the feet of Grammy Award-winning tenor banjo/tenor guitar guru Marcy Marxer, Tyberg is equipped to adapt almost any musical style to any situation, from formal occasions and corporate functions to dive bars and rock clubs, and everything in between.
While Tyberg holds the bachelor of music degree in jazz bass performance and has being singing and playing bass with ensembles large and small for decades, he more recently found his voice as a soloist in taking up the tenor instruments, using them to accompany his signature soaring tenor vocals at events and venues around metro Atlanta. Whatever the occasion, his agile fingers and golden pipes are ready to make it a special one.
