Vested Interest Barbershop Quartet from Oklahoma City, OK

Vested Interest, although relatively newly formed, has performed for many audiences both large and small, and in a variety of venues. Recently, it competed in a regional quartet contest, winning the Novice Quartet Championship and earning the right to compete at the next level. Other performances include a business opening in downtown Oklahoma City, birthday parties, church dinners, local performing arts organizations, and on shows sponsored by the barbershop chorus to which they all belong. It is hard to imagine a quartet with members with such diverse backgrounds. The Lead has recently earned a degree in voice and is also a pretty good carpenter. The Bass is an accountant who has performed in theater and musical theater. The Baritone is manager of an Information Technology group and also plays piano and clarinet. The Tenor is a retired geologist and geophysicist who has sung in grand opera, light opera, musical theater, and many classical choral groups. The common factor is that they all love to sing, and love to sing in the barbershop style.
