The Big Band Alumni Big Band from Beverly Hills, CA

THE REAL DEAL. This 17 piece Big Band, comprised of LA's best players along with outstanding vocalist Bill A. Jones, plays the best of Mid Century Swing and Classic Vocal Pop Standards. Think instrumentals like "In The Mood," "String of Pearls," and songs such as "I've Got You Under My Skin" and "Mack The Knife." An additional Female vocalist is also an option, as well. The band was established over 22 years ago by members of the Original Big Bands, such as Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Harry James, Les Brown, and Count Basie. Most of our instrumentalists have not just spent time in those ‘name’ bands, but have worked with such artists as FRANK SINATRA, RAY CHARLES, ROD STEWARD, ELVIS, and LADY GAGA – to name just a few. In years past, the band has played at the Academy Award Governor’s Ball, The Reagan Library, and opened for TONY BENNETT at the Beverly Hilton. The band comes with its own sound system, and can provide a wireless microphone for your speeches, toasts, and announcements, as well as an Emcee.
