Tom understood our needs and was extremely accommodating. He offered good suggestions on how to make things run smoothly. This band was perfect for our event. It was the right size and they played a good variety of music although mostly based on swing. That’s OK, as that is what we wanted. The only negative comment I heard all night was from someone who obviously did not appreciate swing music. The dance floor was full all night. We likely will want to use this band again. Our event was a ball with 650 people attending.

Tom and his band were all so friendly and accomodating! They played our requests with no problem and the overall music was appropriate and well played for our event! I would definetly recommend Tom and the band for any event!!

The Thom Roland Dance Band, 9-pieces plus singer, performed for my mother's 90th birthday party. The band was a tremendous hit. We requested music from the 1940s. The 70 guests, ages 23-98, all enjoyed the music. So many songs had been remade in each generation that we all recognized more than we thought we would.
Their website, TheTomRolandDanceBand.com offers a very long list of songs that is being updated. They took last minute requests and each performance was perfect. I just would not hire a band without being able to hear sample songs, which are on the website. Photos give you an idea just how professional this group is. Highly recommend.

The Thom Roland Dance Band did a fabulous job with my residents. Due to my room's size constraints, by request they brought only 4 pieces, but what a great sound from a piano, drums, bass and sax! Tom worked with us to make sure our needs were met, and that our residents had a great time. They send out a song list from their big collection ahead of time so I could make changes if I wanted to. There was no need, as his selections were wonderful. We will definately have them entertain for us again.
