Asheville based bluegrass outfit Another Country stays rooted to the traditions of bluegrass pastimes, and also tastefully utilizes the soulful ear-candy found in good pop music. Maybe it's the melodic hooks, or perhaps the vocal harmonies and superb groove that bring fans together to listen again and again. Another Country is a modern bluegrass outfit from the acoustic music hotbed of Asheville, North Carolina. The band was founded in 2017 by Ken Chapple. Ken's music has been compared to progressive music icons Bela Fleck by No Depression (2015) and likened to Mountain Heart by Bluegrass Today (2013.) Another Country's music is a truly unique blend, containing the thoughtful songwriting of country music, the infectious ear-candy of pop music and the artful beauty of acoustic bluegrass music, and of course, ripping fast bluegrass solos!
