The Solid Blue Band has been playing festivals, private parties, weddings and corporate events together for over three years. With decades of professional experience, The Solid Blue Band is a band with influences ranging from the Bluegrass sounds Tony Rice, Ricky Skaggs, Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, Seldom Scene as well as playing contemporary Bluegrass arrangements of songs from many other influences from Jackson Browne, Keith Urban, Dave Loggins, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffet and many others. The band features Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Dobro and Bass. The Band has made many appearances ranging from festivals, weddings, churches and private parties to radio appearances. The Band member are: Bud Teague, Lead Guitar, Lead and Harmony Vocals Bud's plays Tony Rice style guitar and has been playing Bluegrass for most of his life in a variety of Band's over the years. His clear and articulate guitar is the anchor of the band. He also sings lead and provides baritone harmony on many songs. Steve Adlich, Rhythm Guitar and Lead Vocals Steve provides rhythm guitar and lead vocals to the band. Bart Collins: Banjo and Harmony Vocals Bart provides the driving Bluegrass banjo to the band. However, he is multi-instrumentalist and is equally adept at Guitar, Mandolin and Bass. Jeff Cagle: Bass, Lead and Harmony Vocals Jeff provide the rhymic foundation of the band providing outstanding upright bass playing. Jeff is also an accomplished multi-instrumentalist playing Guitar, Mandolin and Bass. Jeff also provides lead vocals and harmony vocals. Jeff has a diverse musical background with influences ranging from Bluegrass to Garth Brooks. Mike Smitherman: Mandolin and Harmony Vocals Mike provides outstanding mandolin playing to the band and is also a multi instrumentalist and in addition to the mandolin also plays Bass and Guitar.
