So good to be back playing, seeing old friends, making new ones, and showing off all the new tunes we've been adding to our repertoire! What is Clinchfield? It's the joy of friends making the music of their lives. It's a living musical autobiography - each tune has meaning and love and joy. It's thousands of hours of practice and rehearsal, of honing craft, technique, performance. It's a labor of love. It's honoring the genre, the tradition. It's developing the tunes with care and love. It's groove and passion and energy. It's traditional country and bluegrass music. It's Americana, gospel, rockabilly, western swing, and Irish music. It's the artists and songs that are the architecture of our lives. It's relationships, changes, growth, love, joy, passion. It's community. We decided early on that our measure of a successful band would be the joy we bring and the joy we share. And we do that - really well! Our travel range is about 250 miles, but we've been known to go further for special occasions! Find out more about us on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/Clinchfield/reviews/?ref=page_internal We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all music lovers. All are welcome regardless of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, creed, or disability. Happy listening! Recent Reviews: We hired Clinchfield to play for a college graduation party for my daughter and two of her friends. Bluegrass, Beer and Mexican food on a beautiful 80degree Cinco de Mayo in Tennessee… That might sound a bit out of the ordinary, but WOW! Sam and the band were amazing! They were very easy and responsive to work with, extremely accommodating when we had a brief rain shower and were forced to move inside for 30 minutes and they absolutely MADE the party! They were so great that we paid them to play for an extra hour! I had college kids coming up to me for the rest of the weekend thanking me for, what they said was, the BEST grad party of the whole weekend! I would absolutely recommend hiring Clinchfield for your next party! They are simply wonderful! BC, Sewanee, TN, 5/2022 Clinchfield made our event magical. There were so helpful in figuring out what we could do with my budget, and they worked with me for a last minute time change. They are so talented - - I would recommend them for any event! KV, Nashville, TN 4/2022 This band is top shelf! Coming to us from Nashville, they are not only great musicians, they are great entertainers all around. D., Wartrace, TN Clinchfield performed at our wedding, both the ceremony and cocktail hour and words really can't describe how happy we were with the whole experience. These guys are exceptionally talented, very kind and a delight to work with. We felt like we had known the group for years the way they were so invested in making the day as perfect as possible and really focusing on giving us exactly what we wanted. Their performance was easily our favorite part of the wedding. The ceremony was more beautiful that I could have dreamed with their help in figuring out which song to walk down the aisle to. We came into this not really having a clue but just knowing we wanted bluegrass at our wedding and their expertise really made it seamless. Not only did we have the sense of an extremely personal wedding which was facilitated by their music and kindness, we felt as though we had made friends throughout the months of planning and investment we had with these guys. This is a very special group, if you have the chance to see them or have them play at your event you are in for a major treat! A., Franklin, TN Clinchfield sounded absolutely amazing at the Tennessee Honey Festival. They truly were a perfect fit for the venue, playing uplifting bluegrass music that appealed to a broad spectrum of people. S., Hendersonville, TN Clinchfield was a featured guest at our community neighborhood festival, and was a great partner in creating a great event. Their music was great, with lots of energy and talent, and was enjoyed by folks of all ages. As important to me as an event producer, they were professional and easy to work with, both in setting up the arrangements and the day of the show. This is a great band who are worthy of your time and attention. J., Madison, TN These guys are a no-brainer booking! Pleasant to communicate with, professional in every way, FANTASTIC MUSIC and a perennial favorite with our venue. Responsive to the crowd and highly requested. We try to book them as much as our schedule allows. A must-see! J.A., Nashville 12/19: What a year! 75 shows throughout the South! Making new friends and great music!

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on October 17, 2022From Franklin, TN

I hired Clinchfield for a birthday party celebration. Sam was very professional and friendly from the very first call. They arrived early and everyone was hooked on their performance even from the warm up. They far exceeded my expectation and I would gladly hire them again. Numerous people at the party asked for their card. They definitely made the party a very special event. Well worth the money!
