The High Water Line is a 5 piece group of Bay Area musicians who play a hard driving modern bluegrass sound all their own. Driving rhythms, soaring harmonies, and great musicianship allow The High Water Line to blend influences as far ranging as classical, traditional bluegrass, blues, funk, and jazz. They play some original musica and a range of songs from many genres with a focus on original interpretations of Bluegrass, Country, Americana, and anything that really moves them.
The High Water Line is growing new branches from strong roots, but they are not a typical bluegrass band when they perform. They put on a fun show and really connect with the audience, providing a great time for any event. Consisting of Fiddle, Banjo, Guitar, Bass and Mandolin they can be found playing around the Bay Area a few times a month, and the members of HWL have performed all over the world, from New York to Shanghai and even in our own backyard at the CBA's Father's Day Festival where The High Water Line will be playing this year.
They are a exiting band with a fast growing following and are on an amazing trajectory. They do not disappoint, if your are looking for great music and a really fun show The High Water Line will deliver.
