Hello we are the "NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED BLUES BAND" Mark Z. "Det. Blues", & Brian "Hurricane" Hall. As our name indicates, we play mostly the Blues, but also play popular music from the 1950's forward. Our instrumentation includes: Acoustic and electric guitars, electric bass, harmonica w/holder, digital drums, and a variety of brass instrumentation like saxophones, trumpets, and flute along with your favorite vocals. Please Note: We play several instruments at once and sound like a quartet. And YES, People dance to our music all the time! We mix it up to please the audience which means that everyone has a great time at your special day event!!! We play customer requests with vigor, and enjoy our profession very much. Mark & Brian have over 60 years of professional musical performance experience, and we come fully outfitted with all we need to make your event a memorial musical one. (Customer may use our P.A for announcements). Mark Z. also provides solo guitar/vocals and classical guitar performances for small venues, as "MARK Z.-"THE ONE MAN BAND" - MARK Z. is a founding member of "DAVE & THE CUSTOMS"- one of the original California Surf Bands, and co-author of the musical legendary surf guitar hit entitled "ALI BABA". Performances with: James Brown, Sonny & Cher, The Byrds, Dionne Warwick, Little Anthony, Mitch Ryder & Detroit Wheels. Martha & The Vandella's, Frank Zappa, Donovan, Joni Mitchell, and others. T.V. Shows: Ninth Street West, Dick Clark Show, and others.
