West Grand Brass Band (WGBB) is a group of 6 talented independent musicians from Oakland, CA. Their music takes the form of an ever changing mix of traditional songs, re-imagined covers, and genre-expanding originals. WGBB prides itself in creating a party wherever they perform, from bars and breweries to weddings and parades. WGBB was formed in the summer of 2015 after the founding members performed together during the Carnaval Parade in San Francisco's Mission District. They developed their sound while busking at Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA, and now perform at a wide variety of events and venues around the San Francisco Bay Area. Contact us for more information!

We hired West Grand Brass Band to create color and excitement for our university's bicentennial gala in SanFrancisco. They were perfect! The band began playing during our pre-dinner reception where they made a loop around the room and engaged people with their upbeat and fun music as they led the procession to dinner. Later in the program they played a great version of Happy Birthday and then our school's alma mater. WGBB really helped make our evening celebratory and memorable!
