The Good Movement Foundation Motivational Speaker from San Diego, CA

Hi there. My name is Chong Thao. I am 37 years old and my nationality is Hmong. My journey started in Thailand where I was born inside a Refugee camp. My parents brought me and my siblings to the United States when I was 2. Fast forward 35 years later. I am the President of the non-profit I built in 2020 named The Good Movement Foundation. I created it to give back to the people of Retail. After 20 years in the industry I came to realize the lack of Mentorship with those who wanted to move up and continue to grow. So in 2020, I left my career to pursue the mission to help others become their best self. I’m 2021 I went through one of the toughest years of my life. I went through a divorce which caused me to lose family and friends. I left the marriage in pursuit of two things: 1. To have more children and 2. Growth. I couldn’t see this at the time, but I had asked God for more than just my current situation. I was stagnant and had become bored with my life. So, God gave me the opportunity to make a change. I had to let go of everything I ever knew and loved and detach myself from the things that were holding me down. It was an ugly, harsh and lonely road, but I would choose this path over and over again just to keep the peaceful stillness I gained in my heart. God then gifted me with a new purpose. To become President of the United States. In order to pursue that ultimate goal, there’s a lot of work I need to do in the meantime and that is to continue to serve others. He has provided me with 3 Guiding Principles to help me along the way. 1. Love Unconditionally with out Judgement or expectations 2. Shine my light so bright that I am a beacon of hope for all those who want to know God and improve their relationship with him 3. Do Good Things, simply because we can. My message is my story and HOW I got to where I am at. I am only at the beginning of my journey but I need to share it with the world. That includes Corporations, Businesses, Churches, Mental Health Institutions, Sports Teams, Schools, and anywhere People need to hear it. I appreciate the opportunity to speak to the people of this world to help them understand that if they want change and a different way of life, all they need to do is ask God for it. I was put here to assist the people along their path because I went though the transformation and loved to tell about it.
