Matthew is a very personable and talented young man! It was a pleasure to meet him and have him play for my daughter's wedding. My daughter, and family, as well a many of the guests were very impressed with his professionalism, his playing and his musical choices! I will encourage the Scottish Country Dance group I dance with in Belfast, Maine, to consider hiring him for one of our future end-of- May dance parties, if he would be willing to come that far. Please give Matthew my sincere thanks for his delightful performance on Oct. 23!!

Matthew went above and beyond to create a performance that was heartfelt and tailored for the event. He maintained very good communication through the process and arrived early to the event. I had made a special request for a song, he went out found the music and provided a sound bit before the performance to ensure I was satisfied with it. I highly recommend this young man for any special event you might have in the future.

Matthew was fabulous and went above and beyond for us. Before my daughter’s wedding he recorded and sent numerous pieces to ensure he would play what I envisioned. It was a long day for him. He piped before the service and had to wait an hour and a half ( long service) before piping our guests to the reception. He then waited to pipe and announce the bride and groom’s artival to the reception. He has exceptional talent ( my grandfather and great grandfather were pipe majors), was dressed in full tartan, and was very professional. He was a highlight of our event. I asked Matthew at the last minute if he knew a particular song, he said he didn't and would look it up to see if he could accommodate. He not only played the song, he played it beautifully. I would highly recommend Matthew to anyone who is looking for his talent. He was at the church well before the time we agreed on. Thank you so very much.

Matthew did a wonderful job. He played before the burial service while people arrived which everyone enjoyed. The during the service did a wonderful rendition of "Amazing Grace" which brought a tear to many an eye. Just a nice young man and could not have been more accommodating.

Matthew played for our son and future daughter-in-laws' rehearsal dinner at The Cottage on Mirror Lake in Lake Placid. He was there playing as our guests arrived. The sound of the bagpipes carried across the water. It was a moment in time that will never be forgotten. Guests from the Mirror Lake Inn were seated on the hillside taking in the tranquility. The next day people in the village were talking about "the bagpipes" they heard the night before and how beautiful it was. Many thanks to Matthew for making our event even more meaningful.

Matthew is extremely talented and did an amazing job as the pre-ceremony/ceremony musician at our wedding. He was able to find an obscure piece of music to learn for us which was very special to have as part of our ceremony. He was also able to accommodate a last minute song request about a week before our wedding. If you are looking for a bagpiper in the VT area he is THE BEST. Highly Recommend.

Matthew was awesome. If I could give me more stars I would. I requested three songs and told him to fill in the rest for a 30min performance. His selection and organization of the performance was amazing. This was an indoor celebration where he used both indoor and highland pipes. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed listening to him and I would recommend Matthew to anyone looking for a piper!

I can't heap enough praise on Matthew. He was the picture of professionalism and artistry. Matthew worked with us closely to put together the music for our wedding and was communicative and available. He found and learned several songs at our request. He drove up a mountain for us! I hope he gets to use the 'Star Wars' theme again! He provided a flourish to the atmosphere of our day that we couldn't have done without. I would absolutely recommend Matthew for your bagpiping needs.

He combines heart, soul and hours of perfecting his talent into one beautiful presentation of authentic scottish bagpipes.
