Our 5-piece Celtic band (also available as a trio or 6-piece band) can rock your dance party, add elegance to your wedding reception, rekindle fond memories at your loved one's memorial service, or just inspire your friends to raise their pints and sing until they fall over smiling.
Charmas performs for private parties, modern dance clubs, festivals, traditional music concerts, pub and winery shows, weddings, memorial services, and charity events. The band's instrumentation includes lead and harmony vocals, fiddle, Celtic wooden flute, low whistle, pennywhistle, guitar, standup or electric bass, acoustic and electric guitar, kit drums and/or bodhran hand drum. Solo or with the band, Great Highland Bagpipes (or quieter Scottish "session" pipes) can be added to any band show (see Gigmaster listing for bagpiper Elise MacGregor Ferrell.), as well as a solo vocalist for special moments at weddings and memorial services.
Charmas' repertoire features well-loved Irish and Scottish ballads, traditional and modern comedy songs, sea chanteys, crowd-pleasing American cover songs, modern Celtic rock covers, original rock/pop/comedy songs, and mixed-style instrumental sets of our own design.
The band is reliable, professional, easy to reach by e-mail while planning your event, and usually books its gigs from 2-months up to 1-year in advance.

Elise and Phil were absolutely wonderful and filled the room with beautiful music. It was the perfect tribute to my father and created an atmosphere of joy and brought back so many wonderful memories as we celebrated his life.

The Charmas were a wonderful addition to my daughter’s wedding. They are professional , versatile , good vocals and have a great sound. I wanted some special songs for the ceremony and they came through brilliantly. I would hire them again in a moment.

The Charmas provided our group with 4 hours of traditional and fusion Irish tunes on St. Pattrick's day! They were fabulous and a talented group of musicians. Definetly hire the bagpipes, so worth it!
