We are an experienced classic rock band in Reno, NV called The Boom Cats. Electric guitar and bass, drums, keyboards, singer. We are available for any events including weddings, funerals, parties, picnics, corporate functions. Will customize your needs to make your occasion as special as possible, playing from a selection of 40 dance and slow tunes from the 60's-80's with a focus on 60's-70's. Some of our many cover bands are: Free, Grace Potter, Lenny Kravitz, Fleetwood Mac, Janiva Magness, Tedeschi Trucks, The Spencer Davis Group, Aretha Franklin, Melissa Etheridge, Tom Petty, Journey, John Mellencamp, etc. We love this music and love sharing it with others who enjoy it as much as we do. I look forward to hearing from you and working together for your personal event. I am also the singer in a 4 piece 20's, 30's, 40's music band. rfXcel Corporation could not be more than happy for hiring The Lighter Side band to play at our corporate event at GSR Hotel. Donna was very responsive through e-mails, texts and over the phone as well. The Band arrived 2 hours before the event started to make sure their instruments were set up and the sound was good to go. The Band did exactly what we wanted and everyone loved it. They played great songs and the performance was like a background music. Everyone was able to talk to each other. Donna also announced dinner for us which was very helpful. Everyone was talking about the band! We will definitely hire the band again. Best, Shaiane Pasanen.

She really set a terrific tone for our party and was well recieved by all. Beautiful music that was even more magical with snow falling in the backdrop. Would definitely book again.
