Chicago Street Strings is a musical ensemble founded by violinist Hannah K Watson and cellist Leyla Royale. They came up with the idea busking on the streets of Chicago during the summer of 2012. Since then, ChiSS has evolved into a group of music professionals that are passionate & dedicated to consistently providing outstanding musicianship & exceptional performances for all kinds of events at reasonable & competitive rates. Our roster of musicians & composers is professionally trained & able to provide our clients with a wide array of instrumentation - violin, viola, cello, piano, guitar & more! All having large repertoire lists & are well versed in many different genres - classical, popular, folk, oldies, Irish, traditional wedding music, jazz, the list goes on and on. We are available as soloists, as a duo, trio, quartet or can alter instrumentation to suit your desires.
