The music at the ceremony was great! Nice selection and my family and friends commented on how beautiful the music was and really made the ceremony and the cocktail hour at the reception. Very pleased!

We're very pleased! Everyone was dancing when Sound Advice played Rock n Roll, and their lyrics was so romantic..... I highly recommend Sound Advice Band. These guys are great!!! From the first moment we talked about the event to the day before the wedding, CMU were always on top of every detail. Very professional. Very well versed in all the details that needed to happen. I didn't have to do anything but show up to the wedding! They were perfect!!!!

:

The reason for the 4.5 scores can be explained, and I feel I can explain the great extent we went to provide the professionalism of our company. My cellist was suppose to meet up with the violinist at her house at 4:45 and Donna had to leave at 5:15 to be on time and left directions on her door. At 5 min to 6 had not heard from the cellist and I madly scrambled home to find a sub cellist . I did and the "sub" cellist was late (naturally) but did show up and did a fantastic job (reason for 5 overall talent). Found out the next day , the missing cellist was hospitalized that morning will Mal Seizures. In the situation I think "we saved the event"....

The music sounded lovely for our ceremony however the only comment from our guests was that one of the players seemed to have not played with the group before and therefore did not appear to be as familiar with the music as the other musicians. Considering the cost of this group this aspect was a little disappointing.

:

I have no idea what the client is referring. We did all requests, stayed longer than the wedding (through pictures even), and we all play together as a group frequently with many good referals. This is strange to me. That all told us (only about 20 guests) how great we sounded and were surpised we stayed so long. In fact several people asked for our business cards. We were early, did what was asked, played very well and left feeling good about the experience. Even commented on how pretty the couple was and how intimate the setting. This one has me baffeled. But we do about 200 weddings a year, and guess cant please everyone. Had no idea they were disappoi

We thought that he did well. However - when asked to play livelier music he did not. He did not tell us when he was leaving. Seemed tired not very happy.

:

Rob Erickson was the pianitst for the Jessica on 12-1 06 at the Rice Hotel. I called Rob to see what he had to say, because he is so professional, gets lots of repeats, and always does his best. He said he inquired about the piano before gig and they said it was in tune and in good shape. He got there, that was not the case...some of the keys didnt work, so had to stay in a two octave for most part. So noisy couldnt be heard at all unless leaning over the piano. he played from 7-8:30 without a break, then that went inside and left him out till 10 when they came back. Told him to play livlier music and he did, but couldnt be heard and limited access to keyboard

I really enjoyed my entire experience with them. The high points was going over expectations and music selections prior to our wedding. Also, Donna, our lead musician was extremely helpful in the planning. The actaul day was awesome! The music was absoltely lovely and many of our guests commented on how their performance added to the feel of our wedding. Thank you Chamber Music Unlimited!

We were very disappointed with this group. Many selections did not begin or end at the proper time and they were out of tune. They were very difficult to communicate with. In addition, on the day of the wedding, we had to deal with several incidents with them because things were not to their liking. They complained within earshot of guests, and even confronted the bride as she was dressing in an effort to have their wishes met. This is the third wedding we have hosted and this group is the only one that has ever had any of the above issues. They were exasperating to deal with on an otherwise perfect day. I certainly would not recommend them.

:

All these comments are totally untrue. We have over 250+ 5-star reviews and have a reputation of having satisfied clients. We never complained about anything, never confronted the brides about our "wishes to be met", only to let her know we were there. The selections began and ended with the cues given as discussed, and considering the "out of our arranged music library", thought we did quite remarkably with their "special requests". Guests commented to us quite positively. We always do what we are told and never "demand" any "special considerations". We play at Ashton Gardens frequently and always have all positive feedback.

Wedding Ceremony•Reviewed on February 26, 2014•From Richmond, TX

The string trio that came to Briscoe Manor did NOT know how to "perform" at a wedding. Gaps of silence, wrong music being played..totally amateurish. When I provided my feedback after the fact, they placed all the blame on a last minute fill in. It seems to me the lead responsible for overseeing the flow of the ceremony should have been held accountable. Unfortunately, my entire experience from beginning to end was not good.

:

This wedding had some unfortunate, unavoidable circumstances. The lead violinist had a major car accident late the night before and had to find an available violinist at the"12th" hour. The original cellist also had an emergency and had substituted a new one unacquainted at the last minute with the wedding details. The cue person in back gave the cue to the cellist instead of Larry, the lead, and he stopped the musicians too soon. All went well except for the short time lapse with the moms being seated and the bridesmaids entering. With our over 200+ five star review for perfect weddings, sometimes life happens. This person was not that easy to work with anyway.

I chose Chamber Music Unlimited based on prior reviews, and I could not be more pleased. I received so many compliments from all of my guests. CMU was extremely professional, the level of talent was off the charts, and they added so much elegance to my ceremony. I highly recommend CMU!

Beverly from Chamber Music Unlimited really worked with me to come up with something within my budget, with only a week's notice. Everyone who heard them thought they were great. They really made my wife's anniversary special. I can't recommend them enough.

We hired a harpist within two weeks of our wedding and she was excellent in our Catholic service. Great experience and they were very responsive. We would have hired a string quartet but that was too expensive.

Wedding•Reviewed on October 13, 2013•From Galveston, TX

The agent was confused about our requirements for musicians, times, etc and communicated such to the musicians which confused matters even more and even after face to face discussions with the musicians and frequent phone calls still did not seem to understand their responsibilities. On the day of the wedding they were not in place at the appropriate time and then wrote a CYA emails to client (both agent and musicians) citing an initial contract that verbally had been altered by the client and communicated directly to the musicians. Musicians were rude to ushers assignment to assist them before the service and agent did not return call when musicians were later.

:

Concerned about weather & and not knowing which location being used had its issues. Started playing at earlier than contracted time and played as instructed, under difficult circumstances. Moving a harp to two different locations in light rain.Spent extra effort and time with bride /Dad on program and special requests and extra rehearsal. All went well except cue requested when moms to enter was not given but being pros, managed to figure it out.Not much help from co-ordinators,or return calls to bride. Got many compliments even from minister. We did our job and did it well, even under the dire circumstances and most musicians will not even play in such conditions.
