From the bottom of my heart, this vendor (Armonico - Jim and his group) was the best company I have ever had the pleasure of working with for absolutely any event, EVER. The fact that it was for my wedding made it even more perfect. The amazing thoroughness and professionalism was topped off by so many personal concerns and so much thoughtfulness. We communicated for months before the event up until midnight the night before. I cannot express more thanks and happiness for ARMONICO!! Perfect, perfect, perfect.

I can not say enough about this group! They did an amazing job playing for my wedding ceremony and my cocktail hour. I had numerous guests come up and tell me how lovely the music was and how classy it was to have live music rather than piped in music for the ceremony. Overall they were good. We had provided a nice covered area for them to play but for some reason they took off 30 minutes early during cocktail hour with saying a word. Not sure what that was about. At any rate, they are sometimes hard to get in touch with. We only spoke on the phone once the week before the wedding.

I apologize for the misunderstanding about the end time for our services. Our traditional wedding package allows for 30 minutes of prelude music as guests are entering and then up to 60 minutes of performance time to cover the ceremony (including recessional). This 60 minute time is allotted to cover varying lengths of wedding ceremonies and/or any logistical delays that may occur. Any cocktail hour music is billed separately.
I appreciate you bringing this concern to us though, and I am rewriting our contract as we speak to make this more clear.

Overall the quartet was wonderful. They were punctual, polite, dressed professionally and they played beautifully. All of the music they prepared was played perfectly and in tune. They were accommodating and played two of my arrangements for the ceremony, at the grooms request, and I thank them for that. However, I wish one of the players would have done a little more practice on their parts, as one of the four players was consistently flat on both arrangements making it a little jarring to the ear, especially for the wedding of a professional musician and several other professionals in attendance. That being said, they were still wonderful to work with overall.

Armonico Strings were great! The music pieces sounds wonderful and everything was on queue. We also hired them for the cocktail. However they didn't get to shine much because we blocked the guests from enjoying great music due to our photo session being done near them, sorry Armonico. I definitely recommend these guys if you are into string quartets. There prices are reasonable compared to the quality they bring. Thank you Armonico String Ensemble for your outstanding service!

The quartet definitely didn't sound or look as professional as I thought they would have. They were also a bit rigid with their time constraints as we were running approximately 15 min behind schedule and they rushed us quite a bit with their reminders that they were booked only until 5pm. I expected a lot more and sadly I can say that I would not book them again.

I was very saddened and confused after reading this review. We received overwhelmingly positive comments regarding our sound quality from numerous guests and family members after the wedding.
Regarding the time constraints, nearly 60 min. had elapsed from the time we were contracted to start playing and no guests or wedding party were near the ceremony area. As such, we did raise concern. Although we were only booked for 60 min., as a courtesy we offer a free 30 min. extension to the contracted time (to account for logistical delays, etc.) and it was important for us to communicate the urgency to insure we are able to provide the full music program as agreed.

Armonico String Trio handled all of my play list for our Swan House wedding ceremony & cocktail hour. The audience was very complimentary and the Trio contributed greatly to the ambiance of the venue. Would recommend to others.

As you can see, we were extremely thrilled with the Armonico String Ensemble. Jim was wonderful to return emails and very accommodating with selections and flexible with schedule and setup ( freezing cold weather on our special weekend). My daughter wanted a couple of more current songs played at the ceremony, and Jim wrote arrangements for the group. Our guests could not say enough either. Armonico Strings Ensemble is fabulous. Completely fabulous. I booked them at the last minute (thanks goodness they were available) and wanted a song for my bridal processional that was not on the list. Jim was awesome and may be a musical genius because my request didn't phase him in the least....in fact he listened to it once while on the phone with me and said absolutely no problem. He then made a suggestion on the arrangement which solved a timing issue I had been struggling with. The music sounded beautiful, they were very professional, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Jim was such a pleasure to work with. He was flexible and handled all of our requests even though we had some late changes. Very personable over the phone and the day of. Of course most importantly, they executed all of the songs perfectly on our wedding day. I would highly recommend Armonico to anyone in Atlanta for your special event. This was a "later in the game" decision to get a string quartet for the ceremony and we were so glad we did!
Would certainly use them again for special events. Very reasonable on price as well...GREAT VALUE.
