We have held several years of comedic fundraisers. Derrick was far best of all that we have had! He researched and personalized the event for our organization, mission and the community that we serve. He did not leave a rock unturned and literally had people hanging on his every word up until the very end. We will definitely be asking him back ??

Derrick and Julie spoke to a mixed crowd of school support staff - EAs, custodians, clerical staff, bus drivers, youth care workers - their message of leading with kindness and love was well appreciated and delivered with humour. It was a perfect start to our pro-d event.

Derrick was hired as a motivational speaker/comedian. Not only did he inspire us, he keep up laughing beyound belief. Derrick will definetly be coming back to our company for future events.
If there was a full time positon at out company for a motivational speaker and comedian in one - he has the job. A week later employees are still raving...

We thoroughly enjoyed our comedy show with Derrick Tennant and his sister, Julie Tennant. Our audience included people of all ages and everyone had a great time and we received positive feedback from our attendees. He is relatable, genuine and funny and his relationship with Julie is inspiring to everyone who sees them interact. We highly recommend him for virtual comedy shows and hope to see him live and in person sometime at a show!

Derrick's presentation was engaging and completely captivated all of our staff. He was able to make his presentation specific and relevant to our company. He took the time to mingle with staff after his presentation. He even created statements of positivity that incorporated our initials "VTDC". To give you an outcome of yesterdays keynote, in walking down the hall today, I noticed that employees have replicated those statements and posted them on their walls to keep them in the forefront. His humor and motivation is unparalelled. We are already recommending him to other agencies and associations. His message and humor need to be shared. Thank you Derrick!

Derrick was very accommodating and took time to understand the needs for our company Christmas party. He was always available when we communicated before the event, even taking time the night before to meet with me. Along with his motivational message, he customized the act to our industry to draw in the crowd. I would recommend him to anyone who asks.

Derrick was incredible. Not only did he tailor his talk to our company, but he had our audience riveted, laughing, and engaged the entire time while still managing to impart a lasting, meaningful message. I've gotten feedback from several audience members that this was the best company event they have ever attended. In addition, he is extremely easy to do business with. We would be honored to have him or Julie back at another ADAPPT event in the future.
