VIRTUAL STRATEGY RETREATS, KEYNOTES, AND CLASSES OFFERED! Thought Leader, Writer, Speaker, and Transformer of people, cultures and workplaces, Laurie is on a mission to bring humanity into the workplace. Her experience leading people showed her that it's possible to treat the people right and still make a profit. Now she works with leaders who are tired of doing things the same old ways, working people until they drop, and wondering why people are disengaged at work.
As a speaker, Laurie is funny, pragmatic, engaging, and instantly connects with your audience. Audience members walk away with practical tools that they can use immediately back in the workplace, and in life. And meeting planners and conference producers love the ease of working with her. Laurie does her homework on your audience and your event and customizes her message to them.
Here's a little more about Laurie's background:
Laurie is CEO of Aligned at Work® in Scottsdale, AZ. Having spent 35+ years developing people in corporate environments, Laurie discovered ways to engage team members, build trust quickly, and align them with goals to create happy and high performing workplaces.
Laurie is the creator of the Aligned at Work® Model, which combines the Elements of Vocation, Relationships, Finances, Wellbeing, and Spirit into an integrated work/life model that brings humanity into the workplace. She identified these elements in the thousands of leaders and team members with whom she worked as a leadership and organization development expert across industries. Her book "Aligned Workplaces: Integrating Life and Work – A Practical Guide for Leaders and Teams" walks team members through the model, then provides helpful Team Leader Guides for running meetings about the 5 Elements.
Her Aligned at Work® Model for Leaders and Companies takes the work further, so leaders can understand how their own actions create either positive or toxic workplaces. The Model's Guiding Principles include Honor People, Create a Healthy and Safe Environment, Align Positions and People, and demonstrate Do as I Do Leadership, all surrounded by Serving a Greater Purpose. Leaders find that her prompts for doing the work day by day are practical and fit into their busy lives.
