Wed're high-energy masters of Bakersfield-style honky-tonk tunes that sound as authentic as when they first hit the AM radio airwaves and jukeboxes. If you're looking for authentic, classic honky-tonk that'll get you up on your feet, dancing, drinking, singing and sometimes even crying; then we're ready to put on a show that's sure to please.
Though built on a foundation of classic dancing, drinking, sing-along music from Buck Owens, George Jones, Don Gibson, Merle Haggard and a slew of others, Big Iron keeps things from getting predictable by mixing in their originals as well as some truly inspired non-country covers; all arranged in that same feel-good, barroom style that sound like they could have come out of Nashville or Bakersfield in 1966.

Big Iron is exactly as advertised, classic country by strong musicians. We had enjoyed their performances at a downtown live country venue, a biker/dive/honky tonk, and a dance in the street rodeo celebration 2.5 hours away, so we booked them for our anniversary/vow renewal reception. Big Iron made the evening very memorable.
We are traveling 160 miles one way to see them again. Big Iron's versatility allows them to play to the crowd, they are family/kid friendly, and pack the dance floor with the true classics. The guys are extremely professional and first class... and, they have a pedal steel guitar!

Wow, where to even start? These guys are fantastic!
Husband, a lover of Bakersfield-style country music, decides he wants a big 70th birthday party. 115 guests, late afternoon into evening hoedown in our backyard. Lots of food, booze, roasts, and toasts sort of gig. And live music to fit the theme. Boy, did I luck out finding these guys.
The video/audio clips you’ll find on line don’t do them justice. Incredible, authentic sound. Great presence. Had a bunch of old folks singin’ and hoppin’ around like young bucks. Youngsters were enthralled too.
If you’re looking for good, old fashion honky tonk country music look no further. These fellows are real pros.
