The Orlando MendezCountry Band from Miami, FL

Formed in the summer of 2021, The Orlando Mendez Band has quickly become one of the most entertaining acts in South Florida. With sounds of country that many do not expect to find in South Florida, OMB has attracted a following of music lovers who have found the “Nashville sound” right in their backyard. Established when lead singer Orlando Mendez was contracted to play with professional musicians Cole Keiffer (Bass) and Blake Evans (Drums), the band spent many months as the resident house band at The Postcard Inn/TikiBar in Islamorada. After picking up guitarist Stanton Hudmon, the band has now made a name for themselves by playing private events around South Florida as well as famous Miami live music venues including Bougainvillea’s Old Florida Tavern, Sunset Tavern and Bar Nancy. Bringing crowds of 50-125 people to these venues and getting them moving, The Orlando Mendez Band has quickly lived up to their slogan “Welcome To the Party”. In November 2021, OMB travelled to Grapevine Studios in St. Augustine, FL and recorded original music under the production of Lucio Rubino. These originals have release dates starting in the Spring of 2022.
